Lady Gaga dekat dengan kaum gay, bahkan menyuarakan aspirasi mereka. She adores them. Salah satu sikap ditunjukkan lewat lirik lagu baru "Born This Way".

Malaysia, negara sejuta tabu melihat lirik lagu Gaga sebagai ancaman. Sensor di radio mereka anggap mampu menghalau tabu. Jadilah semua radio dihadapkan pada pilihan sensor atau denda 50 ribu ringgit plus penalti lain.

Jaringan radio AMP, Malaysia yang memiliki 8 stasiun radio dengan pendengar lebih dari 1,5 juta pun tunduk pada peraturan itu.

Namun ada juga yang geram. Salah satunya aktivis pembela hak kaum gay, Pang Khee Teik. Ia menilai media seharusnya membantu memberikan pemahaman, bukan mengakomodir kebencian terhadap gay.

Masalah yang pelik. Padahal lagunya enak didengar.
